We are often absent during our walk, lost in thoughts about the past and future rather than attentive to our walking experience in the present moment.
We practice mindfulness while walking in a park, allowing our minds to come back to the present moment. The mindfulness practice allows you to discover and experience the richness of present moment so you can enjoy more of your walk.
Everyone is welcome and free to participate. Instructions are provided for those who are new to mindfulness practice. If you are having a difficulty practice mindfulness alone, practicing in a group will make it easier. We walk for about 40 minutes. After the walk, also practice mindful qigong for those who are interested.
- Where: Green Timbers Park parking lot (in 100 Avenue, Surrey, BC)
